welcome to SC Gove's online traffic

ticket payment video tutorial follow our

step-by-step instructions for help in

completing your online payment first

open an internet browser such as

Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox

type SC gov into your browser place your

mouse or cursor over online services on

the left hand side of your screen then

click pay traffic tickets and court

fines online then click the county that

issue your ticket if your ticket was

issued by a town or city in South

Carolina scroll to the bottom of the

page to select the municipality that

issue the ticket if you don't know which

County issued your ticket examine your

ticket carefully the county's name may

be written at the top of the ticket or

in a box labeled county if you're unable

to find the county's name you can

typically determine the county by the

zip code or city where the trial court

is located simply google the town or

city's name or zip code to locate the

name of the county if you've lost your

ticket you'll need to contact the South

Carolina Department of Public Safety at

8:03 896 9000 they can provide you with

the county that issue the ticket and

your tickets case number after clicking

the county that issue the ticket you

will be presented with a disclaimer

provided by the court please read this

disclaimer in its entirety the

disclaimer may vary from County to

County if you agree to the courts Terms

and intend to pay for your ticket now

click accept

after you accept the disclaimer you will

be asked to enter your last name and

case number your case number is a letter

and number combination and printed upon

the bottom of your ticket it may be

labeled citation number or it may be

printed in red be sure to enter the case

number with no spaces between the

letters and numbers after entering your

last name and case number click locate

case

if the system tells you that there are

no records found with this last name and

case number contact the county that

issued you the ticket directly you can

find the county's contact information on

the ticket its name address offense and

amount of the fine if the fine amount

differs from what the officer wrote on

your ticket please contact the county

that issued you the ticket directly to

address the discrepancy you can find the

county's contact information on su

fines page click here if you still

intend to pay for your ticket now click

confirm payment

the tickets name and address will be

pre-populated in the cardholder

information if you are paying on behalf

of another individual please edit the

name and address to reflect the true

cardholder this field is optional but if

you'd like a note copy of your receipt

be sure to enter an email address click

continue after filling out all of the

required fields select your credit card

type enter your credit card number enter

your expiration date and your card

verification number your card

verification number is a three or four

digit code found on the back of your

credit card click continue when you've

completed all of the required fields

verify all of your credit card and

cardholder information if all of the

information is correct click make

payment your payment will now process do

not click the back button while the

payment is processing

if your payment processes successfully

you will be presented a receipt we

recommend that you print this receipt

for your records if you entered an email

address you can now also check your

inbox for a copy of the receipt your

transaction is now complete

you can close your internet browser
